There are a few reasons why Google Search Console (GSC) websites are not visible in your Metrics Watch account.

We will go through the most common ones here. Feel free to reach out if none applies to you.

1. You connected a Google account which does not have access to your GSC website.

A lot of people have multiple Google accounts. Each of those accounts can have one or many websites configured in GSC.

Maybe you connected a Google account that doesn't have access to the GSC website, and you need to connect another one?

This happens all the time, and it's easy to fix.

Solution: Connect the correct Google account.

Note: If you were already working on a report, save it and reload it to get the new websites after connecting your other Google account.

2. You don't have a "URL-prefix property" set up in your GSC account for the domain you want.

There are 2 ways to create properties in Google Search Console, and one won't work with the Google Search Console integration API.

Those types of properties are:

A) Domain property ❌

B) URL-prefix property ✅

Solution: the solution for this comes in two steps. (1) First, you need to create a URL-prefix property. (2) Finally, return to your Metrics Watch account's integration list and refresh your GSC account list by clicking the "Refresh account list" button.

What is a "URL-prefix property"?

A Search Console property that, as defined, includes the protocol (http or https) and can include a path string when you created the property. You can see the property URL in the property selector dropdown. Examples of URL-prefix properties:
